Swim with sharks

I am not crazy. I just want to swim with sharks, that's all. Sharks are often looked down upon because the film industry, media, and hear-and-tell often perceive them negatively (take for example Jaws). However all these stories are greatly exaggerated and are far from reality.
Sharks are natural predators but they prey on fish, not humans. If their goal was to eat us, they would have grown feet and would be chasing us.

Waddup.

Sharks can be friendly creatures. They'll only give you trouble if you give them trouble. Despite previous perceptions, sharks are rather calm. Swimming with sharks would be a great experience and would make for an amazing photo-op.

I mean just look at that!

Pose at Splash Mountain

Something that has always entertained me is looking over photos of people inconspicuously posing for roller coaster ride photos.

Exhibit A.
Traditionally, roller coaster photos depict either someone's adrenaline rush or their anxiety attack kicking in. It amazes me to see the creativity and all the possible ideas people have come up with. There are endless possibilities! Now, I have never been on an actual roller coaster (besides the caterpillar ride at cheap carnivals) but I can imagine that the excitement plus the speed you're accelerating at makes it hard to control yourself.

 What a wonderful family.

However, there have been lucky ones who have mastered this difficult task. Though it shall take me many years of training and planning, I have agreed to take on this challenge. Plus it's a pretty cool souvenir to take home if you ask me.

Spring Trip

Spring Trip was pretty boring actually. I expected more from a trip that included stops at some of the most well-known cities full of culture and music and food (especially food). Most of our trip consisted of never-ending road trips. However, the bus that carried us was equipped with Wi-Fi and outlets for our handy dandy iPhones (hooray).
Despite the lack of excitement, we did visit many universities and colleges and it got me thinking. Life doesn't end at college. I saw many college students who were having the time of their life and just doing their own thing. Not a single person looked stressed. This made me realize I shouldn't be so worried about college. My life will not end. Life will go on.
Anyways the point of this post is to move the deadline of this bucketlist further. I'll give myself...well before I have kids of course, I don't want to influence my children to do crazy things even if I am doing it.

Well until the next post, my friends.

Chinese Fire Drill

Chinese Fire Drill: The act of suddenly stopping the vehicle you are currently in in the middle of a street, jumping out and running around the perimeter of the vehicle.  This particular action is hilarious when everyone else teams up on a victim and leaves them in the car dumbfounded. I think I'll do this on a future road trip. On the way to Mexico, the freeways are usually empty save the car my family rides in, so it would be a good opportunity to practice this... Hopefully by the time I get to college, I actually have friends who will maybe want to hang out with me and join me in this dangerous task.
