What is the purpose of a bucket list? Why do we plan in our heads for the future?
The purpose of a bucket list is to look forward to the future. To give us a purpose for life. Life is all about experiences, why waste that? However I wish there was a better term for bucket lists. It should not remind us that we are going to die. On the contrary, it should celebrate life within the words. It should be a reminder of the endless possibilities out there. The term itself should be motivation, not just I wish I coulda, woulda, shoulda.
With that said, A bucket list is a list of ways to celebrate life. It's different for everyone. Whether you want to give it a homage by exploring it's land or you want to get away from it all and live another life. You can do all of these things. That's the beauty of a bucket list; you can set aside your limitations and really think about the things you want to do.

Learn to be Good at Photography
The only normal hobby I have would probably be photography. Many people think that if you have a nice camera, you're a photographer but it actually takes more than that. You need to have the lighting right and the composition and you must know the perfect ISO, aperture, shutter speed, white balance, etc. My point is, you have to be very skillful in order to achieve great photographs.
I have learned quite a few things, but I still don't feel like I'm great at it. I want to be able to take amazing photos and be able to share them. I would like to focus on becoming a better photographer by shadowing one or learning a few tips from someone who also takes photographs. I've done research online, but there's only so much you can understand. I think I need someone to explain it to me. Maybe someday I'll take photography classes, I'm not sure. Until then, I'll just keep practicing and hoping I get better.

Learn To Crochet
Okay, so I decided to steer away from my adventurous side and delve into my granny side. There's no easy way to say this, so I'm just going to say it. I wanna learn how to crochet.
I'm a huge addict of Pinterest and I love arts and crafts, but I always see a crocheted item and I'll fall in love with it. The pattern, the texture it has will have me entranced. But sadly, I have to keep scrolling because I DON'T KNOW HOW TO CROCHET. :( Anyways, I just want to learn so I can make neat hats and hand warmers, I don't know. Maybe I could even make crocheted underpants. Oh and I saw this pattern for bunny slippers. How cool is that?!
I'm on my way to Michael's tomorrow to pick up yarn and a crochet hook.

Volunteer at a Wildlife Reserve (in Africa)
When I was little, I had the dream of owning a zoo. Unfortunately, that dream is very unreachable. However there are other options of working with other animals. One of the careers I want to pursue when I grow up is Veterinary medicine. Right now, I'm not sure if I'll actually follow true with that but I do know that at some point in my life I want to work close with animals.
Since I was born I have had many domestic animals, but I would LOVE to be able to get close with wild animals. I think this is one of the many reasons why I want to be a Veterinarian.
In order to actually become a Veterinarian, one must go to college for their typical 4 years. Then they must apply to veterinarian school and enroll in a DVM program and go to school for another 4 years. And that's only if you want to be a general practitioner. However, there's only 28 accredited veterinary schools in the U.S. so it's very competitive. Having experience with real animals makes you stand out from the crowd, and this is where this bucket list item comes into play. Some summer during college, I would like to go to Africa and volunteer at a wildlife reserve. Where lions are at! This would look great on my resume and would make a great impression on those vet schools ;)

Rollerskate down a San Francisco hill
If you've ever seen The Princess Diaries, Full House, or That's So Raven (or actually been to San Francisco) you've probably caught on and figured that San Francisco has some pretty steep hills. Now just imagine you've been walking up that steep slope all day, your roller skates in hand from your day job at Sonic (I don't know) and finally you get to the peak. You look straight down and it's the last street home. You glance at your roller skates. Finally the lightbulb emerges.
I mean, wouldn't it be cool to just let the hill send you on your way? Sure it would be dangerous, but so is texting and driving and that's tantamount to this activity, if not even more dangerous.

Swim with sharks
I am not crazy. I just want to swim with sharks, that's all. Sharks are often looked down upon because the film industry, media, and hear-and-tell often perceive them negatively (take for example Jaws). However all these stories are greatly exaggerated and are far from reality.
Sharks are natural predators but they prey on fish, not humans. If their goal was to eat us, they would have grown feet and would be chasing us.
Waddup.
Sharks can be friendly creatures. They'll only give you trouble if you give them trouble. Despite previous perceptions, sharks are rather calm. Swimming with sharks would be a great experience and would make for an amazing photo-op.
I mean just look at that!
Pose at Splash Mountain
Something that has always entertained me is looking over photos of people inconspicuously posing for roller coaster ride photos.
Exhibit A.
Traditionally, roller coaster photos depict either someone's adrenaline rush or their anxiety attack kicking in. It amazes me to see the creativity and all the possible ideas people have come up with. There are endless possibilities! Now, I have never been on an actual roller coaster (besides the caterpillar ride at cheap carnivals) but I can imagine that the excitement plus the speed you're accelerating at makes it hard to control yourself.
However, there have been lucky ones who have mastered this difficult task. Though it shall take me many years of training and planning, I have agreed to take on this challenge. Plus it's a pretty cool souvenir to take home if you ask me.
